Monitoring the power consumption of software-defined infrastructures is a challenging topic has it requires to understand how energy consumption in the physical world spread across software components of the virtual world. This tutorial will deliver an overview of the tools made available as part of the PowerAPI initiative to encourage practitioners to deploy their own experiments and work on the reduction of the energy footprint of the software solutions they develop. The session will combine introduction of the various tools and hands-on exercises for the participants.
